  • Defective Target Furniture

Received a damaged piece of furniture. Call Target whom arranged a pick up that never materialized. Called on 3 separate occassions to arrange for a pick up which never came. The customer service representative is rude, and unresponsive. Wrote a bad review on target.com which never appeared online - but surprisingly, my positive review actually appeared online. Please avoid Target at all costs! More...

  • Rug from Target MELTED

I purchased the 5x7 Kenya Fleece Accent Rug by Threshold%u2122 from Target back in August. I LOVE it, but my vacuum cleaner MELTED it. It was sitting on top while I had pulled out the extension to clean my couch and upon finishing and lifting my vacuum, I noticed the fibers in that area had been completely singed off. The care instructions indicate to vacuum it regularly and spot clean if necessary. Nothing about it MELTING under heat. Needless to say, I'm pretty heartbroken about this. If only the label had indicated to take caution while vacuuming or when around other appliances that... More...

  • Advertised Target sale items not given for stated price

I live very close to the Easton, MA Target and I go there frequently. This review only pertains to this store. My one major complaint about the store concerns their sale items (the ones in their weekly flier). I wouldn't be this irritated if it happened once or twice, but it happens repeatedly (and today), prompting this review. If you go to purchase the sale items (especially those for which you receive a $5 or $10 gift card for a minimum purchase) during the first 2 or 3 days of the sale, none of the employees know about these items and the sale and gift cards don't ring up in... • Target price match

Target makes a big deal of matching prices. They should tell their stores to honor price match without making the customer feel like they are steeling. The Fridely MN store tried several approaches to not match a Walmart ad. Finally, they agreed that Walmart was offering a lower price on the same item and matched it. It took about 30 minutes of my time and 4 Target employees to solve this "major" issue. I guess when your store is empty of customers, you have time to drive more of them away. Plus they made it very clear, they do not match Black Friday ads or other... More...

  • Wrong Sales Prices

Have purchased the store brand of Minoxidil 5% topical solution for many years from Target at less than $20 most of the time. Recently, in the Huntsville, Texas store is was selling for almost $31, which appeared to be an obvious error. A manager said "corporate" sets the price, so it is correct and all stores are the same. However, she gave me the online price of less than $20. A few weeks later at a store about 30 miles away, I checked and the product was selling for $19.99. Went back to my store and they said the $31 price is their price. Complained online to Target and... More...

  • cruelty free makeup

Please include more cruelty free makeup lines in your beauty department there are several available now and I know that there is a growing market for beauty products that are not tested on animals the major lines that the store carries now all test on animals and it is just not necessary in this day and age to blind or mutilate an animal for the sake of looking good More...

  • Difficult to assemble.

I recently purchased a patio chair from Target - a Clifton sling back chair. The instructions for assembly were very confusing and the chair was very, very difficult to assemble. I suggest that Target sell only easy to assermble chairs and provides clear instructions. The chair itself is fine and the price was reasonable. More...

  • Exploding napkins

I usually do not complain about minor things like the following. I purchased a package of 600 paper napkins. they were one ply, and measured 145 sq. inches. They were wrapped in a thin, clear, plastic wrapper. Before I forget, I am elderly, and have purchased Target products for many years with no complaints. Anyway, when I opened the package (from one end) napkins flew out in every direction. An estimate would be about one third of the contents ended up on the floor. Putting them back in another container posed another chore! Thanks for listening, Bill More...

  • E-mail Discount and BOGO Code not honored in stores

Last week I received an e-mail of a 25% off on mens items, and a BOGO offer on shoes. The e-mail gave a character code that stated to provide upon checkout. I noticed the qualification in fine print that the 25% only applied to "select" items, which were not identified. It indicated this offer was valid in participating stores. So upon entering the store I asked a clerk whether they participated and what this applied to, and she consulted store managers in the front who approached me and told me they would honor all the men items and shoes upon checkout. But later at checkout... More...

  • No service

Specifically, this is the Target on Halsey St in Gresham, Oregon. No cell service once you step away from the door. Shopping is a cooperative experience. When trying to fill a need for a shut-in, it's a major nuisance to have to walk all the way to the door to ask about a color or a size. No Target store in my experience has cell-friendly construction or a cell repeater to help the customer. Walmart has good cell service all the way to the back wall. Why can't Target? More...

  • Target Has Changed

I am disappointed by Target's changes overall. Since the remodel of my store in Irvine, some of my favorite things are missing replaced by the "UP" brand which I find to be low quality. I believe they moved to that lesser quality brand to stay at a low price point but it the product is of low quality...how many more will they really sell? My guess is that Target still has the same profit margin that they've always had, but the customer is stuck with a poor product. Yesterday I stopped after work to pick up some cleaning supplies and a few HBA items. I walked in the... More...

  • Target phasing out good products for their products.

To my surprise Target seems to be phasing out great products (favorites) for inferior products. I'm tired of hearing that their products are the same. THEY AREN'T!! Could not find one Pepcid product on the shelves for weeks now. Lots of Target brands, that obviously aren't selling. Can't find the most popular Purina cat food that always sold out first, because the cut the 6 varieties down to 3 and put other inferior brands in it's place that are cheap and when we had boarding kennels, we would never buy it. Target quit carrying Shower to Shower bath powder, but it... More...

  • palm desert store CA

Tried to open an acct as I have just bought a second home in Palm Desert - and did buy $250.00 worth of product and really enjoyed the store - so wanted a charge or debit card to facilitate additional shopping for both our US home and as Target is coming to Canada would be great to have. Even though I had ID and US bank acct/address I was unable to open an acct as I don't have a Social security # - why not be like Kohls and have a CANDIAN screen - goodness knows your firm could use the business. I will not shop at Target again until I have the ability to take advantage of the discounts. More...

  • Archer farms

I purchased a box of the Sun-Dried Tomatto & Basil snack crackers on the 19th. of Feb. 2012. I had some for lunch today (2-20-2012) I noticed they have burnt edges that taste really bad due to the burnt edges. The package says 100 % satisfaction guarenteed . Who do I contact the right party? I purchased them in Hutchinson Mn. I've bought them before without a problem. Signed Not a Happy Customer. Tim Kaczmarek More...

  • girls' jeans

Hello, Target clothing buyers: Please, please return to your terrific Circo jeans for girls. My daughter does not want weird dye washes, nor does she want her jeans to look like they were run over by a cement truck prior to be stocked on the shelf. She doesn't want embroidered embellishments. She doesn't want super skinny, low-rise, or heaven help us, jeggings!! She wants the Circo boot cut regular dye wash jeans you stocked up until last spring! Where did they go? They were great looking, affordable, and just perfect for girls who just want jeans that look like normal jeans.... More...

  • Bloomfield Hills, MI Store

I really like Target and think the new store is beautiful. However, it is huge and very exhausting for most patrons esp. if they are older, and the average age of the township exceeds 65! I have some observations on the placement of departments. I think it's bizarre to put seasonal mdse. at the farthest point from the entrance. Most people don't know that you have an electronics dept--why is it at the rear of the store instead of showcasing a wall of TVs near the entrance? Also the grocery area is at the opposite point from the entrance. When people shop for groceries they... More...

  • Bad Experience

I went to the Target store in La Crosse WI. I went into the apparel section to look at clothing. I wanted to try some items on. So I went to the changing rooms. The girl at the desk was deep in conversation with a male co-worker. She did not acknowledge me at all. Even though I had just walked into the men's changing room. Because the changing rooms are not marked at all which is which. The only reason I realized it was men's is because there was a man in there. I went to the other changing room. The door's were falling off the hinge, they didn't lock and there were... More...

  • bad pharmacy service

I went to a doctors appointment that was closes to the target in denver Colorado on Havana. I put my prescription in expecting no problems and' I had to wait extra long and when it was ready they said that my insurance would'nt not cover it so I had to pay full price, before the next scrip was do I call for a refill it took the two weeks to fill my script. They were faxing the request to an outta state number which was wrong then they faxed it to another wrong number and didn't call me to tell me whats going on then they let the issue sit for three more days. Byt then I found... More...

I dediced to get two games for the xbox. Sunday they were offering a $20.00 gift card with the purchase of an Xbox, but I can't get one without returning the one I bought and buying anohter. (Also got a GPS in Oct.) $600 (about) and I can't get a gift card. I guess I need to stick with Walmart. I actually like the company, but this does bother me. More...

  • Tax exempt simplified

As a director of a non-profit preschool who buys products from Target for the school, I have found the tax exempt process at Target to be one of the more cumbersome and time-consuming. Many stores have a one time sign in at the service counter and issue a UPC scanable card. I would love to see Target update this procedure (even Walmart does this better - oops!)) More...

  • not in your inventory?

Hello, I don't shop Target often but thought I would avoid the "other" big name super center. I was in hope's of finding a LARGE of box of Baking soda, cinnamon Altoid's, reasonably priced Agave Nectar, but nary a one. I did learn while there, that you have a cheaper price on your Ghiradelli 65% chocolate chips...which is wonderful! I have to say, there is something off- putting about the color red theme in your stores, and something cold, sterile, and unwelcoming also, as far as the general energy. Perhaps a different color someday? Thanks... More...

  • Targets complaints

The Target store in our area is not a bad store to shop in -meaning it is generally clean and stocked. However the personnel they hire leave a lot to be desired!! These people are rude and lack even the most basic skills of customer service. There are no smiles, hardly any thank yous and they act like you should be thankful that they took time out from their socializing at the registers to check you out. These people spend so much time talking about their personal problems its a wonder that any work gets done at all. Not to mention these talk sessions generally block the aisle that i,... More...
